Reflecting

This past fall i was quite new to blogging and i really wasn't sure about how it was going to go. At first i really didn't know what to talk about, or what even to say to start my blog out. When i finally did figure out what to talk about i was starting to feel better and i could talk about what i wanted to talk about. This became easy for me to do because you don't have to write a journal or a big paper that has resrictions and for some reason it is easier for me to open up and talk on the blog then it is to do it on paper. As the year progressed blogging became a piece of everyday life even if i didn't want it to be sometimes. I would come up with new ideas to write about and then i would come up with more and more and then i would start to forget what i wanted to talk about in the first place. Now as the end of our school year is about 2 weeks away i'm not going to give up blogging but i will take a lot more time reseaching new things to talk about and maybe change things up a bit. In a way i really am going to miss school this summer because my friends and i always ask each other if we have seen there new blog post. I am really glad that we were able to blog this year and i hope that it is a requirement every year. I will say the first time you blog it's not the easiset thing in the world but as you go on it is a lot of fun.

Leg-o my Lego!

We have seen the Lego Star Wars series, Lego Batman, and Lego Indiana Jones, but now Lego goes original in Lego Battles for Nintendo DS, and it is set for realese in 2009.

While the game still has that werid sense of humor, it has depth to back it up. The game has 90 levels and throughout the game you will be able to play as several factions such as Medieval combatants, Pirates, Space Warriors, etc. , you will also be able to manage 80 unit types; for example in the Medieval era you will have Guardsmen, Archers, Knights, Cataputs, builders and many more. There will also be a Hero Character with special powers kind of like Age Of Mythology for DS (if you have ever played that). You will have structures to build and maintain, and resources to gather and manage. The Multiplayer mode is more competitive rather than cooperative. The games other improvments include being able to actually Fail missions unlike other lego titles. This Lego game is sure to be a great game and to be one of the best in the lego series, so check it out it is sure to please.

Double the Fantasy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you ready for this, this is a big announcement for Final Fanntsy lovers , Square Enix is going treat its WiiWare users to two brand new Final Fantasy Games. The first game is Final Fantasy 4: The After Years and the Second is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord both for Release in 2009. Final Fantasy 4: The After Years is the sequal to the 16-bit RPG Final Fantasy 4. The game will be in original 2-D 16-bit style. The new story explains what happened following the conclusion to Final Fantasy 4. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My life as a Darklord lets you be the villian for once, it puts a new twist on the game. These two new games are sure to please fans who use WiiWare while they wait for the New Final Fantasy 13 to come out. By the way look for more updates about Final Fantasy 13's release and previews.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon!

What can i say about this game that doesn't sound bad, to tell the truth you really can't. The game is just so slow and because the creators didn't do much (other than some graphics) to keep the game fresh it just doesn't cut it. It is just like the original version for SNES (Super Nintendo) with no improvments other than some graphics. The two games that came out for GameBoy Advance were way better. Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones for GameBoy Advance wasn't as slow as the one for Nintendo Ds. What i mean by slow is, it is just so yack,yack,yack,yack,yack and not enough stratgy and below the two for GBA. I should have listened to the game magizines when they said it was a terrible game but i thought "hey the other two for GBA weren't bad so this one shouldn't be bad"........but i was wrong. I do have to give my credits to the two games made for Gamecube and the one for Wii there pretty amazing. I just don't see the point in this game, why make it if it will turn out terrible. I am going to give this game a 5.0 because even though it is a terrible game it is playable if you have the time to spare or if you are getting tired of playing Halo Wars (yah right). Recently i've been looking at a lot of internet art and there is some really good hand drawn and computer drawings out there. There are some by professional artist and also by people who just love to draw. I am now going to display some of my favorites.











I Realize that a lot of these pics are Kingdom Hearts pics but there soooooo good and also i will probably post another Favorite Internet Art in the future with not so many Kingdom Hearts pics so be on the look out for that. Manga Mania!!

When you hear the word Manga what comes to mind......think about that a minute. 10-20 years ago this word really wasn't used much if at all in america. Now its almost part of our vocabulary and is used in daily conversation. For those readers who still don't konw what i'm talking about Manga are Japanese comics. In America they are translated from Japanese to American but you still can buy the Original Japanese ones if you like. Manga has almost become my life and also the life of some other people i know. The Comic craze is sweeping the not just America but the entire globe. It kind of has become a home away from home for comic readers and something new for readers as well, and the best part is that if you like certain cartoons............................ (example: DragonBall, DragonBall Z, Yu-Gi-OH, Shaman King.....the list is endless) you can go buy the Manga and i bet you'll find something new you didn't see in the cartoon and you might even appreciate the cartoon a little more and also the work these people put into making these comics and shows. This comic craze is sure to grow and grow and possibly be forever part of the American comic world.

Backlash??????

Today WWE presented Backlash on pay-per view. For the most part it was an exciting night, but the night slowly got long and disappointing. The hype going in to the pay-per view was amazing, the rivalry's, the storys, it was shaping up to be what i thought was "BETTER" than Wrestlemania but after tonight that changed. The only match i truly enjoyed was the I QUIT match between Jeff and Matt Hardy (yes they are brothers). Matt got what was comming to him, He said I QUIT while bound to a table. Jeff Nethertheless jumped off a ladder into him. Before i start talking about what i really hated here are the rest of the results. Kane defeated CM Punk, Chris Jericho defeated WWE Hall Of Famer Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat (which i kind of really hated the result of this match just because I HATE CHRIS JERICHO!) , and Captain Charisma- Christain Cage defeated The All American American to claim the ECW Championship. Now to the good part. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena took on Edge in a LAST MAN STANDING match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Now for those who don't know what the rules of the match are i'll tell you and there fairly simple........you are supposed to incapacitate your opponent to the point they can't stand up before the count of ten, in otherwords "Knocked Out". So anyway the match overall was ok but the Big Show Came out and Chokeslammed Cena through a spotlight. Cena lost and Edge Won the title which means the World Heavyweight Championship is back on SmackDown. Now this normally would not bother me, but the fact that Edge is an A** and is so annoying and he needs to let someone else hold the title for once (like John Cena). I can understand the Big Show being upset seeing as how he hasn't held ChampionShip Gold for Freakin Ever and i think he is a little over due, plus his loss at Wrestlemania and i also think it was wrong for him not to be in this match. But on the other hand he should not have interfeared in the match. This is my opinion. The other match is the 6-man tag match for the WWE Championship. WWE Champ Triple H, Batista, and Shane McMahon taged against Randy Orton and Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted Debiasi). The rules where that if anyone on Triple H's team lost to anyone on Randys team, Triple H would lose the title and visa versa except Triple H would regain his title. Randy Orton RKO'ed (Finishing move) Triple H and Punted him in the skull, then pinned him to capture the WWE Championship. The only problem i have with this match is that Randy Orton has put Triple H, his Wife, Fater in-law, and Brother in-law through alot and his shocking actions earned him a title? I mean come on Triple H should have won this match and it was wrong on so many levels that he didn't. I have nothing against Randy Orton, in fact he is actually one of my favorite wrestlers but his actions leading to Wrestlemania and Backlash in my eyes did not earn him a title in anyway,shape,or form. First of all thanks to everyone who leaves a comment. I do agree that Gears of War 2 is a great game but i didn't put it on the list because it , to me was'nt as good as the first. I will add it to my list in the future.

When i made this list pokemon platinum was'nt out yet( i started this article about a month before i posted it and i had not bought or even played Platium Version) so during the span of the month i was playing games and ranking them and this is the list i came up with. I will add Platinum Version to the list now because of the fact that 1) i've played it and 2) it's way better than diamond or Peral. I will add it in my next top ten list or replace Peral in the other one ( i haven't decided yet).
Now to answer your second question. When i put Super Mario World i ment the whole series because it was the first series that really made Mario (and Luigi) a superstar. I do agree that Super Mario Bros. 3 was great and better then the first two hands down. I should have made it clear in the list that i ment the whole series not just the one game but for right now, until i decide ultimitly which of the three really deserve's to stand alone on the list, (even though three really dominates the other two you have to look at all aspects of the game and what technology did we have when each one came out.), So until then you can make it which ever one you want. If i say Super Mario World and you want it to be number 3 or 2 thats just fine with me.

Wrestlemamia Results!

The 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania has come and gone and it was one exciting night, here are the results. In a WWE before wrestlemania 25 match Primo and Carlito defeated The Miz and John Morrison to retain the WWE tag-team Championship and to win The WWE World tag-team Championship, Primo and Carlito are the only Tag-team to win both titles and so now they are Primo and Carlito The WWE unified tag-team Champions. Matt Hardy defeated Jeff Hardy in a Extreme Rules match. CM Punk came out on top again in the 8-man Money in the Bank ladder match, he is now the only superstar to win that match 2 consecutive times. John Cena defeated both The Big Show and Edge in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Rey mysterio defeated JBL to win the WWE Intercontintal Championship, JBL shocked the world after his match when he Quit the WWE. Chris Jerico defeated WWE Legands Jimmy Snoka, "Roddy" Roddy Piper, and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat with WWE Legand Ric Flair as Manager. The Legands lost the match but they won the war when Chris Jerico had Oscar Award Winner Miky Rouke come in the ring to glout about his victory and fight, (Miky thought otherwise after all Chris put him through when his movie The Wrestler came out) So Miky, with a swift flick of his fist, Knocked Chris out. Santina Marrella (AKA: Santino Marrella) won the Miss Wrestlemania Battle Royal and in one of the most heated rivalys in WWE history Triple H defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship. The next thing i'm about to say will send shivers down your spine. 17-0!!!!!!!!!!! The Undertaker defeated Shawn Micheals in what is probably the best match of all time, Shawn and Undertaker put on one h*** of a show. The Undertaker is now seventeen and 0 at Wrestlemania. The Undertaker's undefeated streek at Wrestlemania is the greatest undefeated streek in all of Sports Entertainment. These are the results of Wrestlemania 25 quite possibly the Best Wrestlemania to date.

Video Game Classics #4

This is the last classic review this month, the next couple of months i will be reviewing my top 4, well you'll just have to wait and find out what my next Top 4 catogory will be later. The final classic game i will be reviewing is quite possibly one of the best horror games of all time. The game is called Resident Evil. Resident Evil's first game was called Resident Evil Deadly slience. This game was just recently recreated for the Nintendo DS and the dvelopers added a few new details. The game overall is awsome but i think the developers could have sweetened the graphics instead of adding some new features. Ok..Ok they did do pretty good sweetening up the cut scenes but the could have also done that to the graphics too. Resident Evil has spaned many game system and has had 4 movies. The Resident Evil game that really grabed your attention was Resident Evil 4. It had the best graphics and sound and well it really had no flaws, it was the perfect game. The controls were a little figety but what game doesn't have figety controls, i mean come on have you ever played a racing game or even Fifa Soccer. The newest Resident Evil game is Resident Evil 5 which just came out for XBOX 360 and PS3. I hear it is amazing and you will probably see a review about it in the near future. until then keep on reading my blogs and enjoying the Wonderful World of Video Games..........and Resident Evil.

Wrestlemania!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With WWE's 25th aniversary of Wrestlemania is comming up fast, April 5 to be exact, the WWE universe waits to see what will happen. The matches include Shawn Micheals going one-on-one with The Undertaker. The match is one of the biggest matches of the night because The Undertaker is 16 and 0 at Wrestlemania, he's never lost but Shawn Micheals is Mr. Wrestlemania. Just to get this match with the 'Taker he had to beat the Undefeated Moscow Maular Vladimer Koslov. He beat Koslov and got this match. Mr. Wrestlemania has lost at Wrestlemania before but somehow everytime he wrestles at Wrestlemania his performance gets the best ratings, no matter what. They could have an Elimination chamber match and a Buried alive match all in the same night at Wrestlemania but his one-on-one match would be better, hince the name Mr. Wrestlemaina.

The other matches include Jeff Hardy going one-on-one with his brother Matt Hardy, this rivalry has been going on since the royal rumble when Matt hit Jeff over the head with a chair costing Jeff to lose the WWE Championship to Edge.

Triple H will be going one-on-one with Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, The Big Show, John Cena, and Edge will fight in a Triple Threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The will be a 8-man Money in the bank ladder match, for the first time ever there will be a Mrs. Wrestlemania Match. Wrestlemania will be a big night for sure and i can guarentee that it will live in the minds of the WWE fans for some time.............We wait to see What Will Happen.......................???????????????????????????????????????????????

Video Games scheduled to come out this year!!!!!!!!!!

I decided to do a list on video games to come out this year. The list may not have every game comming out this year and it will be kind of like a my favorites list.....so here it goes. The first game and one of my favorites to come out this year is going to be the Watchman game.
It, just like the movie, looks awsome. The DS game Mario and Luigi RPG 3, which is the sequal to Mario and Luigi: Partners in time and Mario and Luigi Superstar saga. This game is due out in Japan this summer so it won't be long until it reaches our shores. Sands of Destruction is another game comming out for the DS this year. Let me just say, what i've read/seen about the game so far looks amazing. Pokemon Platnuim is also comming out for DS this year. The game that i think is going to be the best game to come out this year is Resident Evil 5. The graphics look amzing, the gameplay looks solid, and killing zombies is always fun. Hopefully, if were lucky, Final Fantasy 13 will also make it out this year. The screenshots and little sneak peeks that they give you on G4 when they talk about release dates look awsome. This is so far the list of games that i know are comming out this year. Video Game classics #3

I know it has been longer than a week since i published my last classic video game but i have been really busy so i'm going to do it now. The classic game i'm going to review today is Final Fantasy. I'm going to talk mostly about Final Fantasy 7 and beyond. First of all i would just like to say this series is one of the best gaming series of all time. The graphics are over the top, the story is great, and the adventures/mission(s) are cool. Final Fantasy 7 was one of the best Final Fantasy games in the series. It brought out the Sephroith in all of us, but Cloud was always one step ahead of the game. Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 were the first two to come out for the Playstation 2 gaming system. The updated graphics and the amazing cut scenes were what always pulled me further and further into the game plus the relationship between Yuna and Tidus always kept the game intersting. Final Fantasy 11 was the only game to be online only play. Final Fantasy 12 is another one of my favorites because of its interesting story and cut scenes. FF12 takes you deeper than any other FF game. The re-invented battle syetem is also one of my most favorite functions, no more will you have to wait for the battle to load every time you run into a monster or when one appears. The charcter relationships were another key aspect to this game, it makes you feel like you really know them and when one gets hurt or dies you almost feel for them and that always makes for a great game. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was the first title to come out for Gamecube and this game also brought a diffrent feel to the FF series. FF12:Revalant wings is the 2nd part to FF12 and it is for Nintendo DS.
FF Crytal Chronicles also has 3 or 4 sequals. The biggets and i think the most anticipated game to come out is Final Fantasy 13. This is the next installment in the series and it might come out by the end of the year if were lucky. The release date has been changed so many time it's starting to feel like it will never come out. So Please just pick a date for FF13 to come out and then start on FF14.

Video Game classics #2

This past week i have been struggling to pick a game and i have narrowed it down to three, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and Resident Evil. So i have decided to draw from a hat and choose one. So the game i drew was Pokemon and thats the game i am going to review this week. Pokemon is one of the most played games around the world and has one of the largest fan basis's. Pokemon also has a weekly television show and several movies. The game, when it first came out was a great game, no one had seen anything like it and it was very possible to get lost in the game and also in your own little world. The games graphics were ok and has since become better. The game was also a big hit because it gave you options, by which i mean the pokemon. You got to have 6 pokemon that was all but you got to choose which ones and the battle system was great and has since not changed much. The battle system revolutionized the pokemon franchise, there were also very few flaws and glitches, which always makes for a great game. The tv show helped people get into the game and the game helped people get into the tv show. At school today there are more and more kids bringing the original pokemon to play saying that even though the new ones are cool, they don't get into the new ones as much as the original. They say that the original game is old-school and old-school is cool. You really can't argue with them, the game is old-school and there is nothing like playing a good-old game of pokemon by yourself or with a friend. I give this game a solid 10 out of 10.
